Re’equil Hair Fall Control Shampoo Review

by Neha Leave a Comment

I’m a sucker for “hair fall control” shampoos. And this shampoo kept popping up in Amazon bestsellers for hair fall control. I knew I had to give this a shot. So, here is my review of Re’equil Hair Fall Control Shampoo.

About the product

Re’equil offers blend of natural and scientific products to bring the best of natural solutions with good, tested quality.

This shampoo is from their hair fall control range. They also offer conditioner, and hair fall control serum for best results.

Re’equil Hair Fall Control Shampoo Details

Before diving into my experience with this shampoo, here are the details of this product.

Claims

Re’equil hair fall control shampoo provides strength, thickness, shine, and bounce to the hair. Free of sulfates, silicones, and parabens, this is a mild cleanser to cleanse and nourish your hair.

This shampoo has an anti-aging effect on the hair while strengthening it from the roots. Loaded with Nasturtium officinale and Tropaeolum majus, this shampoo is rich in vitamins B3 (Niacin), Pro-Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), and Vitamin B7.

Packaging

The shampoo is packed in a white, opaque bottle. The bottle has a press cap and the opening is sufficient to take out shampoo easily.

The press top is tight and prevents leak or spillage. The bottle is also sturdy and travel-friendly. The size of the bottle is also convenient to carry in a handbag.

Due to the opaque bottle, it is not possible to see how much shampoo is still remaining.

Ingredients

RFe'equil hair fall control shampoo - ingredients

Complete ingredient list is printed on the bottle. As you can see, this is a good mixture of chemical surfactants and natural actives.

How to use

It is recommended to use this minimum of three times a week. I use it twice a week, as washing hair three days a week with a kid at home, seems like a luxury. πŸ™‚

I dilute it in a cup of water and then use it all over my head. It spreads easily and little quantity is enough to cover the whole scalp.

Texture and Fragrance

The shampoo is light pink with translucent consistency. It has a smooth, pearly shine and is super easy to spread.

It has a subtle, refreshing smell. The smell does not linger for long and is not overbearing.

Price and availability

250ml bottle costs Rs 450, but oyu may buy at a discount.

My experience with Re’equil Hair Fall Control Shampoo

I have been using this shampoo for more than a month now. I had high hopes with this one as it had many positive reviews on Amazon. I take one squeeze of shampoo, dilute it, and spread it on my scalp.

It spreads easily and generates good lather. It generates a good amount of lather for a sulfate-free shampoo. So, if you like your lather (like me) then you will like this.

When used on non-oiled hair, I wash it off in a minute and follow up with a conditioner. While washing, hair feels softer.

On oiled hair, I leave it for couple of minutes longer and wash it off. It removes the oil in one wash and leaves the hair soft.

I have used it with and without conditioner, and felt, it worked best with a conditioner. Without the conditioner, this made my hair a bit dry.

Now, coming to the claims part!

I did not observe any reduction in hair loss since using this shampoo. I have used more than half the bottle, but still, there is no reduction in hair fall.

I know, reducing hair fall is much more than just using shampoo, but this shampoo claimed to reduce the hair fall, so I was expecting to see at least some improvement.

I also did not see any shine, bounce, or any difference in my hair. I generally use it twice a week, but got busy a week or two, and washed only once. Those weeks my hair was oily by the 4th day. Generally, my hair becomes drier the longer it is unwashed, so this was a surprise.

Benefits of Re’equil Hair Fall Control Shampoo

  • Refreshing smell
  • Good packaging – it is easy to carry while traveling
  • Made hair soft
  • Removes oil in one wash itself

Cons

  • Did not reduce hair fall
  • Did not meet the claims to add shine, bounce, or strengthened the hair

Recommendation

If you are looking for a shampoo that makes your hair soft, then try this shampoo. If you are looking for hair fall reduction or any changes in your hair texture, then this may not meet your expectations.

Repurchase

I will not be repurchasing this one, as it did not meet any claims. I may still try some other variant from this brand.

Rating

2/5 spoons of happiness.

Closing Thoughts

All in all, Re’equil Hair Fall Control Shampoo is an average shampoo that works well to cleanse hair and make it soft. It doe not do anything more than that. I felt disappointed, as it claimed to reduce hair fall, and make hair healthier.

Hope this review of Re’equil Hair Fall Control shampoo helps you. Have you used this shampoo? How was your experience? Do share in the comments below.
