The hair masque is enriched with some great ingredients for hair like apple cider vinegar, black seed oil, onion oil, keratin among others.

Claims

The hair masque claims to solve all your hair concerns. It will boost growth, volume, repair dry and damaged hair, keep your scalp dandruff-free, and reduce hair frizz.

And all this without mineral oil, silicones, or paraben. Talk about awesomeness!

Packaging

Bella Vita Organic growth protein hair masque comes in a white tub packaging with a white label. The word cloud on the label breaks the monotony and provides a breath of color.

The outer label contains all the details, including ingredients, benefits, and salient features of the masque.

The tub does not contain an inner lid. Even though the outer cover is tight enough but an inner lid would have made it safer (guess only psychologically).

The packaging is leak and spill-proof. Carrying it in a handbag may be difficult as the tub is heavy (at least when new). But it is value for money for us.

Ingredients

The ingredient list is printed on the tub.

Similar to Bella Vita Organic Growth Protein Shampoo, this hair masque also contains water, coffee, and almond oil esters as the first three ingredients.

Unlike other condiioners that are laded with silicones, this conditioner contains organic chemical emollients to provide the slip and conditioning effect. Plus, these are some of the last ingredients and lesser than 1% in concentration.

This is silicone, sulfate, and paraben-free hair masque. So this is a CG friendly hair masque and even suitable for curly hair.

How to Use Bella Vita Organic Growth Protein Hair Masque

Since this is a hair spa treatment cream, it is recommended to leave this for 10-15 minutes at least.

But if you are in a hurry, you can speed up the process by using heat. After applying the masque, wrap your head in a towel and use a hair drier to blow hot air.

This warms up the towel that helps in absorbing the masque. This way you can get the benefits of the hair masque in very little time.

Texture and fragrance

The hair masque is white with a medium creamy consistency. It spreads easily and washes off quickly without using a lot of water.

It has a distinct coffee smell which is not surprising considering coffee is one of the key ingredients of the masque. If you are a coffee lover or even like it, the smell will refresh you and improve your mood.

The smell fades away once the hair dries. The smell isn’t too overbearing and won’t bother sensitive noses.

My review of Bella Vita Organic Growth Protein Hair Masque

I have used this hair masque in a variety of ways before sharing the feedback with you.

I used this as a spa cream couple of times where I left it for 10-15 minutes. Really difficult! I’m pressed for bathing time (mom life!).

I normally use it as a conditioner. After hair wash, I remove excess water and apply hair masque liberally. I wait for 2-3 minutes before washing it off with cold water.


More than the duration for which the masque was applied, what made the real difference was the shampoo used with this.


I used this hair masque with Bella Vita Organic Growth Protein Shampoo as well as another shampoo. With both the shampoo, I used it as a normal conditioner and hair masque.

With Bella Vita organic Growth Protein Shampoo

When used with shampoo from the same range, it made my hair oily and gave me a dirty hair feeling. I shared the same in my review of Bella Vita Organic shampoo.

I used it with and without oil, as a normal and as a deep conditioner. In all the instances, I got oily hair. I think the shampoo from this range is moisturizing and gentle enough. When combined with this hair masque, it made my fine hair – heavy and oily.

By the next day, though, my hair was softer and much more manageable.

With another shampoo

This hair masque performed remarkably well when used with shampoo from a different range. Even as a hair masque, after hair wash my hair was soft and there were far fewer tangles.

This hair masque on its own is a great conditioner to use with another shampoo. The combination of shampoo and hair masque from this range may be a boon for extremely dry hair.

Suitable for

The company claims this is suitable for all hair types, including colored hair. This hair masque is great for people with dry and damaged hair. People with fine hair should use this hair masque along with some other, not so gentle, shampoo.

Benefits

1. did not see any changes in hair’s health
2. did not see any reduction in hair fall after using it for a month
3. makes hair oily when used with shampoo from the same range
   
   

Recommendation

If you are looking for a CG-friendly hair masque, then give this a try. It is a decent hair masque.

If you have fine hair then use this hair masque with some other shampoo. Either use shampoo or hair masque from this range at a time.

If you have dry hair, give this combo a shot. The results would surprise you.

Repurchase

I am not yet decided whether or not I want to repurchase this. It did not work with the shampoo from the same range. But, it worked beautifully when used with a lathering shampoo.

I will rebuy this if I’m buying a shampoo that does not have a conditioner in the same range.
