You know it is very important to include a good night cream in our routine. Skin recovers and repairs during night. A good night cream plays an important role in providing the required active ingredients to repair the damage caused throughout the day.
So how did this night cream fare? Read on my experience with this night cream from Himalaya.

Packaging
The cream comes in a transparent glass jar with a green lid. Another plastic layer is provided to avoid spillage and wastage. The lid and plastic cover provides double protection and saves from wastage.
As is my nature, I ended up dropping this jar a couple of times. I was scared it will break the glass, but as I came to know, the glass is quite sturdy and survived the fall. (Yay for future falls :-))
This jar is definitely travel-friendly, it is small in size and spill-proof. What else is needed, huh!
The glass jar is housed in a cardboard box. The box has a chic look with lily print. All the details, like directions, ingredients, claims etc. are printed on the box.
On the whole, the packaging looks quite classy. Due to the small size of the jar and double protection to prevent leakage, this can be easily carried in a travel bag.
Product Claims
This cream claims to penetrate the skin and reverse the damage caused throughout the day. Enriched with tomato and white lily, this cream help neutralize free radicals and cell renewal.

As you can see from the above list, this cream consists of a combination of moisturizing alcohols, oils, fruits extracts and a lot of filler chemicals. This is a little bit of let down to see a product from Himalaya contain so many chemicals which could have been avoided.
Unlike other companies, which only print active ingredient, here the complete list of ingredient is printed.
How to use this night cream
Usage instructions are pretty simple.

- Dot face and neck
- Massage in an upward, circular motion to increase blood circulation

Fragrance & Texture
Himalaya night cream has a slight smell which fades away after application. I find the smell artificial but not too heavy on the nose.
The cream is white in colour with a light creamy consistency. Due to light consistency, it is really easy to apply the cream. It absorbs easily and does not leave a sticky, or heavy feeling.
My review of Himalaya Revitalizing Night Cream
This is my third jar of this cream, so I can confidently say I have used it enough to share my experience.
Himalaya Revitalizing Cream – who is it suitable for
The cream claims to be suitable for dry to combination skin, and I agree. This works perfectly for my sensitive, combination skin. This cream did not cause me any breakouts, not even a single bump which is great. This cream is suitable for acne-prone people.
Dry skinned beauties may find this a tad bit too dry.
Himalaya Night Cream experience
Starting with the packaging, even though the jar is very sturdy and travel-friendly, we need to dip our fingers in the cream to take it out. My last night cream had a pump nozzle which was highly convenient and easy to use. It also ensures the product stays hygienic as we won’t be dripping our fingers in it.
So how did this one work on my skin?
This cream has a light creamy consistency which is easy to apply and is absorbed like magic. It is absorbed in a jiffy, without leaving behind any sticky or heavy feeling. My skin feels soft, supple and moisturized.
Now coming to the claims, I didn’t see any drastic change in my skin or reduction in damage. The cream ha light creamy consistency, which at times feels dry for my combination skin. I generally prefer a bit heavy night creams, as then my skin does not feel dry after morning face wash. With this one, my skin was a little dry after my morning routine.

I have used multiple jars of this cream. It works well for my skin type, keeps my skin properly moisturized while not causing any breakouts or any other reaction. I will repurchase this one.
