Packaging
The sunscreen comes in a cute transparent bottle with a pump nozzle. The pump has a cover to prevent impurities from reaching the nozzle. The packaging looks classy and transparent bottle allows to gauge how much product is remaining.
The nozzle dispenses the right amount for one-time usage. I generally take one pump of product in my palm as that is enough for my usage.
I have one issue, SPF is not mentioned on the bottle. It would have been really good to provide SPF to guide people whether it will be enough for their sun exposure or not.

Just Herbs Nosun Sunscreen gel combines various oils and aloe ver leaf juice to nourish skin. Non-nano zinc oxide provides broad-spectrum protection from the sun.
Unlike other companies, which only print “Key Ingredients” or “Active Ingredients” on the bottles, Just Herbs provides all the ingredients. As you can see, they have printed two sections, one “Key Ingredients” and below it, “Other Ingredients”, thus providing a complete list of ingredients used in this sunscreen. Really appreciate complete transparency from Just Herbs.
As per the details printed on the bottle, this is 98.2% natural and 100 % herbal actives.

I will first share the details about the product then go in detail about my experience with this sunscreen.

This sunscreen is on a pricier side, with 100ml bottle available for INR 795.

Swatch and Appearance
This sunscreen is lightweight, with a slight-yellow colour. It has a lotion-like consistency which is easily dispensed from the pump.
Fragrance
It has a slight herbal-y cum flowery smell. Not too overpowering, it dissipates minutes after application.
Leak-proof and travel-friendly
The pump nozzle in combination with top cover ensures the product does not leak making it leak-proof. The bottle is also small, only 100ml), it can be easily put in the handbag for travel. I have carried this in my bag for multiple travels and never faced any leakage.
This bottle is definitely leak-proof and travel-friendly.
My review of Just Herbs Nosun Sunscreen Gel
I have been using this sunscreen on and off for almost a year now, so I can share my experience with Just Herbs Nosun Sunscreen Gel
As claimed, this sunscreen has a light lotion consistency which can double up as a moisturizer as well as a sunscreen. During Bangalore summers, I have observed this sunscreen can provide enough moisturization for my skin. I generally use it straight after cleansing my face with a gentle face wash and skip moisturizer. I did not have any dry skin or any other issues.
During winters, my skin needs heavier moisturization, so I generally use some moisturizer before applying this sunscreen.
I love how easy it is to apply, one of the reasons it lasts more, as less is definitely more with this. I take one pump, put dots on cheeks, forehead, chin and nose and mix it. It blends easily and does not leave a white cast behind.
This sunscreen does a decent job of providing the base for makeup. I usually don’t wear much makeup, this sunscreen followed by compact powder makes me more than ready to face the day.
Efficacy
Coming to the efficacy of this sunscreen, as already mentioned SPF is not mentioned on the bottle. I contacted Just Herbs team to ask about SPF of this cream and they informed, it is equivalent to SPF 15.
Even though sceptical and a bit disappointed with low SPF, I have worn this on a normal day (involving a couple of hours in sun) and sweaty climate of Singapore summers. On both the occasions it did a decent job of moisturizing and protected me from tanning.

- SPF is not mentioned on the bottle. It would have been good if SPF was mentioned as it would have helped people make a decision based on their sun exposure needs.
- Expensive, with 100ml costing around INR 795 this is definitely on the pricier side
- It is only available online, I have not come across this on any physical stores.
Recommendation
I will recommend this sunscreen to all the combination/sensitive/oily skinned beauties. Dry skinned beauties may find this a bit drying. Just Herbs has a different sunscreen suitable for dry skin.
I have already recommended this to my sister and mother, and both reported good experience with this sunscreen.
Repurchase
I’m loving this sunscreen and would repurchase this in future as well.
