My Review of mCaffeine Naked Detox Green Tea Conditioner
I have used this conditioner for more than a month in a variety of ways before writing this review. I used it with the shampoo from the same range, shampoo from a different brand, for conditioner hair wash.
When used in conjunction with the shampoo from the same range, my hair was totally oily, heavy, and did not look clean. I mentioned the same problem with shampoo also, and it only became worse by using this conditioner.
When used with a different brand shampoo, my hair was better, but still a tad bit too heavy. It did not feel properly washed.
I got the best results, when I used this conditioner as a co-wash. My hair was manageable, less frizzy, and detangled. My hair was better though, I still did not have that squaky clean feeling.
I tried this conditioner on my daughter’s curly hair, and it worked like a charm. Her unruly hair were much more manageable, detangled, and overall smoother. Unfortunately, I can’t use this long term for her, as this is not recommended for kids below 16 years.
As you may have guessed by now, this conditioner did not meet its claims of healthy, shiny hair for me. I’m not sure about other claims, as I stopped using it.
Suitable for
The company claims this is suitable for all hair types. Unfortunately, it did not work for my fine hair type.
This is more suotable for people with curly, or dry hair. People with straight, fine hair may find it heavy.
Pros
- Good ingredient list
- Contains green tea, and caffeine
- Silicone-free
- Subtle smell
Cons
- Weighs down fine hair
- Makes hair heavy and clumpy
- Expensive
Recommendation
I will recommend this conditioner to people with dry, thick hair. Give it a miss if you have fine, oily hair.
Repurchase
I won’t be repurchasing this one as it did not suit my hair. May be I will keep trying it out with some other shampoos, and see if this works better for my hair.
Rating
2/5 spoons of happiness!
Conclusion
That was my experience with mCaffeine Green Tea conditioner. This can be a good conditioner, if it suits your hair type. If not, then it can make your clean hair clumpy, and you grumpy.
