Review of Re'equil ceramide moisturizer - packaging

Re’equil moisturizer comes in a tube packaging with an outer cardboard carton. The sample piece I received has a twist cap. The packaging is leakproof, and travel friendly. One benefit of the small sample size, it is very convenient to carry in a hand-bag.

It has a chic color combination and all the details are printed on it.

Ingredients

You can find complete ingredient list on the tube.

As you can see from the ingredient list, this moisturizer is a combination of natural and chemical ingredients. It contains mango butter, borage seed oil, jojoba oil. and ceramide.

And it also contains silicones, fragrance, and alcohols. So, be careful if you avoid these ingredients in your skin routine.

Texture and Fragrance

The moisturizer is white color and has a creamy texture. The texture is just right; it spreads easily while moisturizes the skin nicely.

It has a slight smell that won’t bother sensitive noses.

My review of Re’equil Ceramide Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer

I was skeptical to use this cream, as it is suitable for normal to dry skin. I was afraid it will break out my acne-prone skin. But then I felt my skin is undergoing a change right now.

It feels dry and stretchy even after using a serum. This moisturizer has come at the right time for me.

I have been using this moisturizer for over 2 weeks now. I use it twice daily on cleansed face, after ilana organic face serum. Little is enough with this cream. I have been using this 30 ml tube twice daily and still have half of it left.

I take a small amount and apply it in dots all over my face. It spreads easily and moisturizes my skin nicely. As this is suitable for dry skin, I intentionally use a lesser than the normal amount. And that less amount is enough to cover my entire face and hydrate it properly.

It moisturizes my skin and does not leave any oily feeling behind. On application, it absorbs quickly and does not cause oily sheen.

And the best part, it did not cause any pimples! Hurray! I will say, I’m pleasantly surprised by this moisturizer.

Pros

  • Travel-friendly, leak-proof packaging
  • Some good ingredients
  • The slight fragrance won’t bother the sensitive nose
  • Spreads easily and hydrates skin nicely
  • Did not break out acne-prone skin
  • A little amount is enough to cover the entire face

Cons

  • Contains alcohol, silicones, fragrance
  • Only available online

Recommendation

Give this moisturizer a try if you have dry skin or are experiencing dryness. It will hydrate your skin, causing no oiliness or leaving an oily sheen.

Skip this if you have oily skin. It may be too moisturizing for you.

Rating

4/5 spoons of happiness. It works great to remove dryness.

I removed 1 spoon because of silicones and fragrance.

Will I purchase?

Maybe not! Even though this worked great in current cooler, dry weather, I’m not sure it will work equally great for me in summers.

I will try another acne-prone variant in the summer.

Final Thoughts

Hope this Re’equil Ceramide moisturizer review helped you to understand if this is right for you.
