Hair damage and hair fall generally go hand in hand. Coupling a damage-repair conditioner with hair fall shampoo makes sense for a complete hair care routine. So, I bought Re’equil murumuru damage repair conditioner along with the hair fall shampoo from the same range. I already reviewed Re’equil hair fall shampoo earlier, and here is my review of the Re’equil murumuru damage repair conditioner.
This silicone-free conditioner claims to repair dry, brittle hair. Murumuru butter repairs the damaged hair and lends smoothness and luster to the hair strands.
Being silicone-free, this conditioner won’t leave any residue on your hair. And it will work for curly girls as well, as it will redefine and enhance your curls.
Re’equil Murumuru Damage Repair Conditioner Details
Murumuru damage repair conditioner comes in a white tube with a flip-top. The top is pretty tight and prevents leakage.
As the tube is opaque, it is difficult to make out how much conditioner is still remaining. And you need to squeeze hard to use completely.
The tube is pretty big to carry in a handbag. Plus, there is a risk of accidentally pressing the tube and causing a leak. I would suggest be cautious while carrying it in a bag.
Complete ingredient list is printed on the tube.
This is a silicone-free, paraben-free conditioner, enriched with organic murumuru butter, hydrolyzed pea protein. It does contain artificial fragrance, which does not linger too long.
How to use
Usage instructions are printed on the tube. Along with the directions, some tips are also printed to maintain good hair.
Texture and Fragrance
The conditioner is white and has a mild creamy consistency. It is very easy to mix with water and spread on hair. It washes off easily in one rinse without taking too much water.
The conditioner has a heavy oily fragrance that dissipates after washing. The fragrance may feel strong while applying, but it does not linger once the hair is washed and dried.
Price and Availability
The cost of 150ml tube is Rs 350.
My experience with Re’equil Murumuru Damage Repair Conditioner
It is super easy to apply this conditioner. I apply from mid-length to the hair ends, focusing more on ends. Since my hair cut to the shoulder length, I apply mainly on the ends. I had lesser hair fall while applying this conditioner.
While washing off, hair feels smooth and silky. Once dried, there are lesser tangles, and hair is relatively better managed.
Regarding the claims, I did not see any improvement in the hair health or reduction in hair fall. Apart from lesser tangles on the hair wash day, I did not see any improvement in my hair texture.
I had heard great reviews and uses of murumuru butter for hair, so I was having high hopes with this conditioner. But this turned out to be a decent silicone-free conditioner. Nothing great about it.
