Hey beautiful! We all know the importance of using a good and effective day cream to keep our skin properly moisturized throughout the day. So, today I am going to review The Nature’s Co Marshmallow day cream.

The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream Details
Let’s see the details of this day cream before diving into review.
Company Claims

This marshmallow day cream is from the Atmosphere range of The Nature’s Co. It claims to have anti-inflammatory properties that calm the irritated skin. and protects it from irritating agents. It also claims to have superior moisturizing qualities that make skin silky smooth.
Packaging

It comes in a tub packaging with a lid top, with tub housed in an outer cardboard carton. The screw lid is tight and prevents leakage. However, an inner lid would have made it better.
The tub is small in size and can be easily carried in a bag. The screw lid and creamy consistency make it travel-friendly and leak proof.
I bought this from Smytten, and the pack contains the disclaimer this is made exclusively for Smytten. Quite possible, retail piece has different packaging.
TNC Marshmallow day cream Ingredients

Ingredients: Marshmallow extract, Grapde seed oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Avocado Oil, Vitamin-E, Cream base, Aroma, Natural Preservatives
Ingredients of TNC marshmallow day cream are listed on the tub. All the active ingredients are listed, but I find the cream base and preservatives suspicious.
For a company claiming to provide luxurious, natural skincare products, this is not satisfactory. I know some things, like preservatives, are necessary to make stable and safe products. And I prefer to know what goes into the product.
How to use TNC Marshmallow cream
Usage instructions are printed on the tub.
Smooth a small amount over clean, toned skin as needed, using gentle, upward strokes.
Who is it suitable for
The company claims this is suitable for all skin types. See below whether this is really suitable for all skin types or not.
Price
The cost of 50ml tub is Rs. 995
Availability
This is available in all the major online stores.
Buy it from Amazon, or TNC site.
Swatch & Fragrance

The cream is off white in color with medium-thick consistency. It has a sweet smell that I guess is marshmallowy. I have never smelled marshmallow earlier, so I am not sure how closely it resembles marshmallow smell. Thankfully the smell is not too strong and it goes off after some time.
The cream has medium-thick consistency but still spreads easily. It takes some time for it to completely absorb in the skin. These days, since I don’t have to step out, I just use this cream for moisturization.
My Review of The Nature’s Co Marshamllow Day Cream
I have been using this cream for more than 3 weeks now. Since this is touted as a day cream, I use it in the morning. At night I use either Himalaya night cream or Mamaearth night cream.
Seeing the tub size, I assumed this cream will be over in a month. But having used this, I realized that less is enough in this case. Only a small amount of cream is required to adequately cover the face and neck. Plus, since this is recommended for only day time, that also reduces the usage.
The cream spreads easily and evenly. It still takes some time to absorb. My skin feels soft and supple after using this cream. Once absorbed, it does not feel sticky or heavy on the skin.
One thing to note here, even though this is a day cream, it does not contain any SPF. So, if you are stepping out, don’t forget to use your sunscreen after applying this. For me, these days I’m at home with limited exposure to the sun, so this one suffices.
I generally have acne-prone, sensitive skin. Anything oily breaks me out while anything gel dries my skin. This cream hits the balance of moisturizing my skin without being too heavy on it. My T-zone remains dry, while my cheeks are moisturized. I am not sure how it will work in summers, but for the current monsoon season in Bangalore, this is working fine.
Meeting claims
Now coming to the claims, I will say this cream meets its claims of superior moisturization. I did not get any breakouts or any other inflammation, so I think it meets the skin calming claim to some extent.
The company claims this cream is suitable for all skin types. I will say this is more suitable for dry to combination skin types. My skin likes this cream, but then, it’s not summers here. I guess in summers, this may be a bit too heavy for my skin.
One sad thing though, where TNC’s vanilla cream made me sweat after a workout, marshmallow cream did not aid in sweating. I don’t know whether it impacts weight loss or not π
Pros of TNC Marshmallow Day Cream
- Nice active ingredients
- Moisturizes skin properly
- Does not break out
- Does not feel heavy or oily on the skin
- Less is more so will last for long
- Easy to apply
Cons
- Expensive
- Complete list of ingredients is not given- Ingredients comprising cream base and preservatives is not mentioned
- For this price tag, packaging could have been better
- Not suitable for all skin types
- No SPF
Recommendation
I will recommend this cream for dry to combination skin types. Oily skinned beauties may find this too heavy.
Repurchase
This worked nicely for my skin but I’m not a fan of the smell. So I will skip this one and repeat with TNC Vanilla cream (the smell of that one is heavenly. Check out the review for details.)
Rating
3/5 spoons of happiness. 2 spoons are deducted because of smell and not listing ingredients of cream base and preservatives.
Conclusion
So here was my review of The Nature’s Co Marshmallow Day Cream. Hope this helps you in finding your next lovely face cream.
Till next time, stay beautiful!
